Mini Review: There Will Be Lies by Nick Lake
Title: There Will Be Lies
Author: Nick Lake
Publisher: Bloomsbury

I reviewed this title over on Reading Lark. You can see the full review here.
This is a really interesting book with a lot of different themes running through it. A convincing thriller, a lead character with a difference, and a supernatural subplot make this a really enjoyable read.

I read your review, but wanted to leave a comment here instead, I'm just awkward like that. I just reviewed this one too and almost rated it the same way. We both pretty much had the same issues. The contemporary thriller storyline was awesome, I was so invested and enthralled, but the Dreaming aspect was just really obscure, too much for me actually. I just didn't understand why a white girl was dreaming about Native American mythology, even with the connection bringing it together. Completely agree, it really could have done without it.
